Stormwater

The Town of Seelyville has separate sanitary sewer drains and stormwater drains. The stormwater system does not combine with the sanitary sewer, and is not connected to the sanitary sewer treatment plant. This is known as an MS4 system. MS4 stands for Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System. The Town of Seelyville is a co-permittee in our MS4 system, with the City of Terre Haute. Other co-permittees are Honey Creek Conservancy District, Indiana State University, Ivy Tech, Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, the Town of West Terre Haute, and Vigo County.
